沙文生態演示圖 Chauvinistic Ecology Presentation
Creation is a part of human behavior as is recording that behavior in all its forms by using symbols, including sight, sound and thought. In this exhibition, the author attempts, using his own self invented vocabulary, to describe this creation phenomenon of general human behavior and their language forms. Through his unique visualizations and language, the author hopes to raise important questions of morality in this singular theme.
In patriarchal societies, chauvinism, the concept that male is supreme, ranges from the mythology of dragons and totem poles to foreign guns and artillery. These are all items that symbolize the penis and patriarchal violence. Perhaps most people are used to this kind of thinking and even believe that it is wrong or shameful to change this type of belief system.
Chauvinism is an ancient topic that is still relevant today. It is a topic that covers controversy between both sexes and describes methods to consolidate and fight for authority, which includes sensitive and feudal material.
Another important part of Chauvinistic ecology is sex. We cannot prevent the existence of Chauvinism or understand the unreasonable Chauvinist attitude without talking about sex, but without a comical or porn glazed bias.
The author faces other various symbolistic monsters in both their antique and modern forms. He believes the existence of a personal vocabulary is part of the gene of creation, and cannot be avoided going as far as pointing out that personal symbolic vocabulary may be the extension of the universal phenomenon of creation. Yes, his vision is different from various universal versions of these image experiences but, the connotation of these symbols and the attempts of the author are easy to understand if the viewer is willing to think of them in a deeper sense.
